The stunning 36-hole Soldier Hollow Golf Course is one of the fantastic options while traveling to Midway, Utah. This lovely course, which is divided into Gold and Silver, was created by Gene Bates in 2004.
Course Description
As you can see from the illustration, the stunning Soldier Hollow golf course has Bent Grass greens and wonderfully maintained Kentucky BlueGrass fairways.
There are two courses with a total of 7700+ yards and 72 pars. Both of Soldier Hollow's 18-hole golf courses are suitable for players of all skill levels, but when they were originally designed, they were made with distinct clientele in mind and with varying degrees of difficulty.
These two are referred to as Gold and Silver, respectively, in honor of the venue's Olympic heritage.
Silver course
The silver is the less intimidating of the two, with slightly shorter fairways. This course here in Soldier Hollow Silver Golf Course has a total of 18 holes, with six par 3 holes, six par 4 holes, and six par 5 holes. It appears to be a little more gentle than the gold course, but it still presents a formidable challenge for even experienced players. The layout offers less forced carry, walkable routing, and is one of the most popular courses in all of northern Utah.
Gold Course
The Soldier Hollow’s Gold course is located at some of the highest altitudes, providing breathtaking vistas of the Heber Valley below. Also with 18 holes, this is the Championship course here at Soldier hollow golf course with more difficult greens, greater carry requirements on tee shots, and narrower, more undulating fairways.
