The Championship Course Description
The best feature of the Sand Hollow Golf Course is the wildlife and scenic views. There are 18 holes in total, the front 9 and the back 9. This 72-par course is 7315 yards in length, and adjacent to the Sand Hollow Resort, and it’s worth the drive.
The overall course is pretty challenging, even for experienced golfers. The challenges include undulating greens, bunkers, and elevation changes in most of the holes.
John Fought, created the golf course at Sand Hollow in 2008. It has precisely groomed fairways that are encircled by vivid red sand hazards. Moreover, because the greens' sizes varied from 4000 to 14000 square feet, some of them are more challenging to hit than others. The bigger greens' hills and swales make it challenging for a two putt.
Links Course in Sand Hollow Golf Course
The Sand Hollow Links Course is welcoming to novice golfers and seamlessly melds with the desert's native sand dunes and rock formations. The full-length 3,600-yard, 9-hole, par-36 course features the biggest greens and fairways in the state. The course includes sheep walls on several holes that golfers may hit over with undulations comparable to golf across the pond, making this course highly enjoyable for everyone.
