The Signature Hole
As you can see from the illustration shown, there is a steep and shallow canyon directly between the tee box and the green, making it the most picturesque hole on this golf course. There is undoubtedly a rush of adrenaline.
Hole number 4 is the signature hole here at Palisade State Park golf course, which is 179 yards long par 3 hole. It’s a stunning and challenging downhill par 3 that requires golfers to carry the shot the entire way over the canyon.
A ball that is hit too far will ricochet everywhere because it will contact the mountain behind the green. On the other hand, a ball that is struck too short will definitely drop into the canyon below. Golfers must carry the ball over a canyon on this 179-yard, beautiful par-3 hole in order to exactly place it on the green. The elevation change is around 70 feet. The greatest tee box view on the course is at number 16, where Palisades Lake can be seen in the distance. And the longest hole on the course is hole number 10, a par 5 that measures 532 yards.
