5. Wilmington Country Club (North)

The Wilmington Country Club has established itself as one of the best and most prestigious clubs in the nation because of its extensive history. The north course at Wilmington Country Club, designed by Dick Wilson and Robert Trent Jones simultaneously, is situated among the Delaware Valley's undulating hills and is surrounded by land. It is nearly 600 yards shorter than the other course since eight of the par fours are less than 400 yards.

4. Biederman Golf Club

You must be clever with your ball placement, make sure that your misses land in the appropriate spots, and use every club and shot you have available since Bidermann is a true championship course. The 1920s saw the creation of Biederman as a nine-hole course by Devereaux Emmett, who also designed the fairways on Henry DuPont's private estate near what is now known as the Winterthur Museum garden and library.

However, more fescue or native grass growth would have given a striking contrast to the fairways and abundant rough. The conditions are great.

After an odd first hole, Bidermann is clearly in front of you. Obviously, there aren't many trees there, so you can immediately see what has to be done.

3. The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay Golf Club

Among the top golf resorts in the world, Troon offers greater service, facilities, and playing grounds, creating remarkable experiences. This course is challenging. Although there are plenty of spacious fairways, nearly every course features water, so if you miss one, you'll probably end yourself in a pond (usually tee to green on the side). The greens are beautiful. Spring and fall are very windy, while summers are quiet and warm. The circumstances are usually ideal.

2. Baywood Greens Golf Club

The golf course in Delaware with the most breathtaking scenery is by far Baywood Greens, sometimes known as the Augusta of the North. It's fantastic training for both beginners and experts. The immaculately maintained Baywood greens is one of the greatest golf experiences in the area because of its excellent practice facilities, outstanding putting and chipping green, and delicious food and beverages. Any queries or issues can be addressed at any time by contacting the pro shop. The attention to detail shines out above all else with eight timbered bridges, two tunnels, 27 acres of man-made ponds, and more than 300,000 wildflowers, plants, shrubs, and trees. All of this will make a lasting impact.

1. Wilmington Country Club South

The South Course at Wilmington Country Club, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones, hosted the junior amateur twice for the first time in USGA history. The junior amateur competition in 1978 took place on the south course, while the junior females' tournament took place on the north course. After 21 holes, a final match over the south course was played that lasted the longest 18 holes in USJGA history. Donald Herta beat up Keith Bains.

A water hazard and sand surround the whole third hole, a downhill, 585-yard par five.

The 203-yard par-3 17th hole on the inside half requires players to navigate another water hazard before arriving at a difficult l-shaped putting green.
