TPC Southwind is a golf course located in Memphis, Tennessee. The course is part of the TPC Network, which is owned and operated by the PGA Tour. TPC Southwind was designed by architect Ron Prichard and opened in 1988. The course has been the host of the FedEx St. Jude Invitational, a PGA Tour event, since 1989.

The course is a par 70 and measures 7,244 yards from the championship tees. It features bentgrass greens, fairways and rough, and is known for its challenging layout. The course is characterized by its rolling terrain, strategic bunkering, and water hazards on several holes.

One of the most notable features of TPC Southwind is its signature hole, the par-3, 17th hole. The hole measures 190 yards from the championship tees and is set on a peninsula surrounded by water. This hole is considered one of the most challenging par-3s on the PGA Tour.

TPC Southwind is also home to a state-of-the-art practice facility, which includes a driving range, short game area, and putting green. The course also has a clubhouse that features a pro shop, restaurant, and locker rooms.

In addition to hosting the FedEx St. Jude Invitational, TPC Southwind has also been the site of other major golf events, including the St. Jude Classic, the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, and the FedEx St. Jude Classic. The course has also been home to the Memphis Open, an event on the PGA Tour's developmental tour, the Korn Ferry Tour.

In recent years, TPC Southwind has undergone a number of improvements and renovations to enhance the player and spectator experience. The course has been updated with new turf, drainage, and irrigation systems, and new bunkers have been added. Additionally, a new driving range and practice area have been built, as well as a new state-of-the-art clubhouse that provides a premier experience for golfers, guests, and tournament attendees.

Overall, TPC Southwind is a challenging and well-regarded golf course that is known for its high-quality layout, facilities, and tournament history. It is a must-play for golfers visiting the Memphis area and continues to be a popular destination for golfers of all skill levels.
